AgWeatherNet Weekly Weather Outlook for October 7 to October 13, 2017

Cool and Unsettled Conditions Through Early Next Week

Nic Loyd, Meteorologist, 509-786-9357

Another transition to unsettled weather will occur this weekend. In addition to a chance of rain (outside of central Washington), wind and potential blowing dust should become the predominant short term weather concerns. The northwesterly air flow is expected to cause a decline in high temperatures, although atmospheric mixing and moisture are likely to initially maintain elevated night time temperatures. Drier and calmer conditions are anticipated for early next week, along with increasing daytime temperatures. However, the brief shift toward benign weather is forecast to allow for cool mornings to develop early next week. The pattern later in the period may become unsettled once again, although the details remain unclear. Overall, fairly typical October weather can be expected in the coming days.
