Unsettled Conditions Return This Weekend; Cooler Weather Next Week

Washington will witness a regression toward progressive and wetter conditions beginning this weekend, as periodic disturbances take aim on the state. Although cooler weather is likely starting around the middle of next week, generally above normal temperatures should persist as we approach mid November. A weak system on Saturday morning will give way to a stronger system for later Sunday into early next week, with active weather lingering into at least mid week. Somewhat more benign conditions are possible thereafter, although it may remain a bit unsettled later next week.

  • Cooler than recent days, but generally above normal.
  • Becoming cooler by the middle of next week.

Precipitation
  • A chance of rain on Saturday, and western rain developing on Sunday.
  • A chance of rain at times next week.

Wind
  • Breezy at times, especially early next week.
