AgWeatherNet Weekly Weather Outlook for March 12 to March 18, 2016

Changeable Conditions Expected During Mid March

Nic Loyd, Meteorologist, 509-786-9357

The weather for the next seven days can be grouped into three basic regimes: active, cooler, and calmer. First, this weekend should largely be a continuation of the recent stormy and rather mild weather, with rain and strong winds at times. Following a garden variety frontal passage on Saturday, a strong low pressure center will approach the state later on Sunday, before departing the region on Monday. For early next week, cooler and somewhat drier, but still unsettled and windy conditions are expected. Finally, as a ridge of high pressure builds over Washington later next week, calmer and drier weather is likely, along with warmer daytime temperatures.
