AgWeatherNet Weekly Weather Outlook for February 13 to February 19, 2016

Mild and Unsettled Through the Period

Nic Loyd, Meteorologist, 509-786-9357

Spring-like temperatures will continue for the coming week, along with variably active and breezy conditions. Saturday should be one of the cooler days of the outlook period, but still above normal, as a storm system passes through the state. Rain is likely in the west this weekend, while central areas are expected to remain mostly dry. Very mild weather is forecast for early to mid next week, as predicted high temperatures surge into the 60s in many places. As a dirty ridge of high pressure builds into Washington, most of the wet weather should be temporarily pushed into northwestern Washington. However, rain could shift back across the region later next week, along with a return of slightly cooler, but still abnormally warm conditions.
