AgWeatherNet Weekly Weather Outlook for November 14 to November 20, 2015

Parade of November Storms Continues

Nic Loyd, Meteorologist, 509-786-9357
Gerrit Hoogenboom, Director, 509-786-9371

The steady march of autumn storms will persist in the coming seven days, as significant systems impact Washington this weekend, and again early next week. Saturday should be very wet in the west and mild and breezy in central areas, while heavy mountain rainfall washes away some of the early season snowpack. However, a Sunday cold frontal passage is likely to lower the snow levels, and switch precipitation back to snow at higher elevations. Cooler and briefly calmer weather is possible on Monday, before another initially warm low pressure area barrels into the state around Tuesday with wind and rain. Cool weather is expected in its wake later next week. Overall, an active pattern should bring sudden swings in temperatures and weather conditions in the coming days.

  • Milder around mid week, before cooling again later next week.
