AgWeatherNet Weekly Weather Outlook for September 5 to September 11, 2015

Unsettled Conditions This Weekend; Becoming Warmer and Drier Next Week

Nic Loyd, Meteorologist, 509-786-9357

Unsettled conditions should continue this weekend, before warmer, drier, and calmer weather arrives next week. For Saturday, a departing upper low may bring some eastern showers and breezes, before a progressive, clipper-type system tracks in from the northwest on Sunday with western showers. Although another weak system is possible during the early portion of next week, the general trend should be toward high pressure and warmer days, especially later in the period. As promised, summer-like weather is not over yet, but at least above normal temperatures in September are better than above normal temperatures in July.

  • Pleasant this weekend, and becoming warmer next week.

Precipitation
  • A chance of showers in the east on Saturday, and in the west on Sunday.
  • A slight chance of western showers early in the week, but mainly dry overall, especially later in the period.

  • Lighter overall next week, with slight breezes possible at times.
