Hot This Weekend; Becoming Cooler Next Week

Nic Loyd, Meteorologist, 509-786-9357

As anticipated, Washington quickly regressed into a pattern of abnormal heat in recent days. This quintessential 2015 weather is likely to continue this weekend, before slow changes begin next week. No major cool downs are obvious in the near future, but at least there is already an end in sight to the current oppressive warmth. As an upper low moves toward the coast next week, there could be some clouds and breezes at times, along with isolated showers. Still, most areas will remain fairly dry, albeit slightly cooler later in the period.
