AgWeatherNet Weekly Weather Outlook for July 18 to July 24, 2015

Hot Again This Weekend; Becoming Cooler Next Week

Nic Loyd, Meteorologist, 509-786-9357

Hopefully you enjoyed the weather of the past week, since abnormal heat will return to Washington this weekend. Widespread 90s on Saturday should transition to upper 90s and even some 100s in central areas on Sunday. Before yielding to despair, however, we can find some comfort in the fact that cooler air is likely to push readings back toward normal around the middle of next week. In fact, a few clouds, breezes, and an isolated shower are possible later next week. Fortunately, the coming heat wave is expected to be rather brief compared to the long duration hot spell of late June and early July.

Temperatures
  • Becoming hot, with the heat peaking on Sunday and Monday.
  • Slightly cooler later next week.

Precipitation
  • Mostly dry overall.
  • A slight chance of showers later next week.

Wind
  • Breezy at times, especially next week.

8 to 14 Day Outlook - July 25, 2015 to July 31, 2015
