AgWeatherNet Weekly Weather Outlook for July 4 to July 10, 2015

Hot and Dry 4th of July Holiday on the Way

Nic Loyd, Meteorologist, 509-786-9357
Gerrit Hoogenboom, Director, 509-786-9371

More typical Washington heat wave conditions are expected in the coming days, as high pressure continues to dominate our weather pattern. The humidity, clouds, and storms will be gone, leaving only sunny and hot weather in its place. Periodic breezes are likely east of the Cascades, as weak pushes of marine air cross the Cascades on occasion. Otherwise, there should not be much weather to speak of, save for dry conditions and an intense summer sun. Although overnight temperatures should be slightly improved relative to this past weekend, they will still be well above normal in general. In some years, this would be called a major heat wave, but it is just par for the course in 2015.

Temperatures
  • Very hot, except at the coast.

Precipitation
  • Mostly dry through the period.
