Nic Loyd, Meteorologist, 509-786-9357
Gerrit Hoogenboom, Director, 509-786-9371

Cool and slightly unsettled weather is likely this weekend, as scattered frost continues to be a concern for mainly eastern and central areas. Showers are expected at times in the west, while eastern areas will see some clouds and breezes, and a slight chance of showers. The pattern could become briefly wetter early next week, although low temperatures should increase thanks to the cloud cover and moisture. Later next week, much drier and calmer conditions are expected to return. While daytime temperatures should warm throughout the week, there may be a brief period of cooler lows around mid-week before nights begin to warm as well. In any case, an active regime may resume starting around next weekend.
