Aside from some breezes and isolated showers on Saturday morning, this weekend should be fairly dry and rather mild for much of the state. The exception will be the northern part of western Washington, which could be clipped by rain for much of the Saturday night to Sunday interval. Pleasant and warm weather on Monday will yield to a passing front on Tuesday morning, which is expected to bring rain to at least western areas, along with gusty winds and cooling temperatures. Somewhat unsettled conditions are likely to persist for the remainder of the period. While temperatures may still be near or slightly above normal, it will feel cool relative to recent days. Despite the chance for breezes and showers nearly anywhere and anytime later next week, many locations could be dry for much of the time. While major improvements are unlikely, next week's cooler disturbances will hopefully bring at least a modicum of much-needed snow to the Cascades.
