Nic Loyd, Meteorologist, 509-786-9357

A frontal system laden with subtropical moisture is poised to bring rain and wind to Washington this weekend, as mild temperatures continue, especially at night. A split flow pattern is likely next week, as a ridge of high pressure becomes established over or just north of the Pacific Northwest. Above normal temperatures should persist, but a weak system or two may transit across Washington through the period. Right now, it appears that the best chance for a potential disturbance would be around Tuesday night. Overall, near to below normal precipitation values are expected later next week, although prolonged periods of sunny and calm weather are not certain at this time.

  • Slightly cooler on Sunday and into early next week.

Precipitation

Frost Risk Summary
