Very pleasant weather is expected this weekend, with mainly sunny skies and highs in the upper 50s to 60s across most of Washington. The warmest areas may reach 70 degrees by Sunday. However, a more active regime of periodic rain and breezes could arise around the middle of next week, although it may not persist for very long before drier conditions return. Temperatures next week should remain quite mild at night, although highs are likely to cool a bit around mid week, especially in western areas and the mountains.
