A pattern change this weekend will usher in an increasingly unsettled weather regime for at least the coming week. Despite a wet start to the day, conditions are likely to be fairly dry in most places from later on Saturday until Sunday night. Next week, however, a series of stronger storms are expected to bring periodic rain to at least the western part of the state. Most areas should expect breezy to windy periods, along with very mild temperatures for December. Later in the week, the active weather may wane slightly, but unsettled conditions should remain in place for the foreseeable future.
