On Saturday morning, the first potent weather system in a couple of weeks will traverse across Washington. Wet conditions are expected in western areas, and perhaps eastern border areas, while winds should be rather strong in much of the state. Temperatures are likely to be notably milder than recent days, especially at night and in central areas. Several additional impulses of energy could traverse through the state through at least early next week. As a result, somewhat active and warmer weather should persist for the near future.
