It looks as if November will pick up where October leaves off, as changeable and unsettled weather should continue for the coming seven days.

Wet weather will linger on Saturday in the eastern border areas, while a few showers persist in the west. Otherwise, drier conditions are expected as the weekend progresses, although rain should develop on Sunday at the coast. High temperatures will be somewhat cooler as well, with chillier lows arriving for Sunday and Monday mornings.

Milder temperatures, especially at night, are likely to return next week. Periodic rain and breezes can be expected in western areas, while eastern areas could have rain at times, along with plenty of dry weather. Right now, it appears that a system will pass through the state on Monday night or Tuesday morning, which should be followed by a flat, dirty ridge for the mid week period. Rain chances increase yet again around next Thursday, as another disturbance passes to our north. This is the time of year that fog can develop on calm and moist nights, although it should not be particularly widespread next week. Temperatures in the east will be dependent upon the amount of clouds and mixing that occur on a given day, although the seemingly ever-present above normal temperatures of late are a good bet for the near future. The main weather headlines for Washington continue to be the variably wet weather, along with a notable lack of any calm, dry spells or cold outbreaks on the horizon.
