A pleasant weekend is in store for Washington, as temperatures moderate to more tolerable levels. It will remain warm, however, as eastern areas can expect plenty of 80s and low 90s for highs. Rain showers are expected in northwestern areas, with a chance of rain across most of western Washington. Elsewhere, only breezes and a few clouds are anticipated. Another weather system could bring some showers to parts of the state on Tuesday or Wednesday. Otherwise, mainly dry and seasonal weather should continue through the period.

  • Possibly warming on Friday or next weekend.

  • A chance of rain in western areas on Saturday, except rain likely in the north.
  • A chance of showers early next week.
