AgWeatherNet Weekly Weather Outlook for June 21 to June 27, 2014

Warming This Weekend and Hot on Monday; Cooler Later Next Week

Nic Loyd, Meteorologist, 509-786-9357
Gerrit Hoogenboom, Director, 509-786-9371

Pleasant weather on Saturday will give way to increasingly hot temperatures early next week, before cooling arrives later in the period, along with a chance of showers and breezes.

This weekend, dry and seasonal conditions are expected, with warm days and cool, comfortable nights. However, hotter weather early next week will drive some areas into the 90s by Monday. Even so, western areas should receive just enough onshore flow to remain somewhat cooler, especially at the coast. As a couple of weak fronts pass through the area next week, daytime cooling may spread from west to east across the state, although nights will remain relatively balmy. It appears that a minor disturbance may bring some light rain to western Washington around Tuesday, with another cooler system possible late in the week.
