More typical April weather is expected this weekend, with unsettled conditions and temperatures cooling to more seasonal values. It will be showery, with a chance of thunderstorms in western areas, and windy and showery at times in eastern Washington. Highs will be in the 50s and 60s this weekend, with lows in the 40s and even some 30s by Sunday morning. However, a building ridge of high pressure early next week will promote briefly drier and warmer days, although cool nights will persist. By later next week, the weather pattern looks to become active again, as storms begin to roll in from the west once again. Highs will begin in the 50s to mid 60s, before warming into the 60s and low 70s by mid week, and then cooling again later in the week. Lows will begin in the 30s to mid 40s, before warming into 40s later in the week.
