Cool This Weekend; Becoming Warmer Next Week

The weather will be calmer this weekend, although temperatures will remain quite cool. Aside from a slight chance of showers in the mountains on Saturday, it will be mostly dry state wide. Highs will be in the 40s and 50s, with lows mainly in the 20s to mid 30s, although the coldest parts of eastern Washington will fall into the mid to upper teens. Temperatures will begin to warm early next week, with above normal readings likely by mid week. Next week will begin dry, before a slight chance of showers develops by mid week, although no major storms are expected. The strength of the splitting weather systems remains in question, and the entire week may be mostly dry. The frost risk will be very high this weekend, but will be decreasing next week. Highs will begin in the 50s, with lows in the mid 20s to 30s early in the week, before warming to the mid 50s to 60s, and 30s to mid 40s later in the week. Overall, the trend will be warming conditions next week, with mostly, but not completely, dry weather expected.
