Stormy weather will continue to bring periodic rain to Washington through next week. However, it will be warmer than this past week. High temperatures this weekend will transition from well below normal to above normal, while lows will transition from slightly below normal to well above normal. The jet stream will send a parade of weather systems through the area, although their origin will be the subtropical Pacific Ocean and not the north Pacific. Rain is expected in western Washington, while a chance of rain continues east of the Cascades at times. High temperatures next week will generally be in the mid 50s to mid 60s, except slightly cooler in the north. Low temperatures will be in the 40s to around 50. Mostly rain will fall in the mountains as well, as snow levels climb this weekend and remain well above pass level through at least early next week. It is possible that slightly cooler weather, although still above normal, will arrive by later next week.
