A departing upper level low pressure system will maintain pleasant weather this weekend, before a building ridge of high pressure brings warmer weather back into the region next week. Saturday will be the coolest day of the period, with slow but steady warming thereafter. Sunday morning will be quite chilly in the Pullman area, with lows possibly in the low to mid 30s. Highs over the weekend will be in the upper 70s to mid 80s in eastern/central Washington, and upper 60s to 70s in western Washington. Next week, highs will warm into the mid 80s to around 90 in central Washington by Wednesday, while eastern Washington will climb into the low to mid 80s. There is a chance that offshore flow could force very warm weather all the way to the coast. Western Washington should warm into the upper 70s to 80s by mid week, except possibly remaining in the 70s in the north and at the coast. Overall, next week will be warm and sunny, with no end in sight for dry locations that have been rain-free for well over a month.
