Saturday morning will feature a slight chance of frost in the coldest locations of central Washington, although most areas will be safely above freezing. Many areas will have lows in the upper 30s to mid 40s. Otherwise, frost chances are very low from Sunday to Tuesday mornings.

Overall, warm and mainly dry conditions this weekend will transition to cooler and wetter conditions next week. A weak ridge of high pressure this weekend will give way to stronger southwesterly flow on Monday, and then a cool trough of low pressure next week. With an active jet near or south of the region, cooler and breezy conditions are expected by early to mid next week, with a chance of showers.

It will be mostly dry this weekend east of the Cascades, with warm temperatures. Sunny skies on Saturday will give way to increasing clouds on Sunday, and a chance of showers in western Washington. Temperatures will warm into the 70s to around 80 by Sunday in central Washington, as lows climb into the 40s and low 50s. Clouds, moisture, and a southwesterly flow will lead to a series of mild nights late this weekend into early next week. The first wet weather system will impact Washington on Monday, and has the potential to bring rain showers to much of the state. This storm will usher in a more unsettled pattern that will dominate the Northwest for much of next week. Early next week will feature Washington's best chance of rain in several weeks, although it will not be wet for the entire week. There is also a chance for thunderstorms at times due to increasingly unstable conditions. Western Washington will experience some rain next week, and all areas east of the Cascades have a chance for recording rain next week, although it will be mostly dry during much of the week in central Washington.
