Mostly Dry This Weekend; Becoming Unsettled Next Week

Saturday morning will feature a chance of frost in the colder locations of central Washington around the Okanogan region and Yakima Valley. The colder areas will be around freezing, while many areas in central Washington will be in the mid 30s to mid 40s. Sunday and Monday mornings will be warmer. Although most areas will be above freezing on most nights, the coldest areas of central Washington could see occasional 32 degree temperatures beginning on Tuesday morning, depending on the timing of the next week's weather systems. It will be dry east of the Cascades this weekend, with only a slight chance of showers in western Washington. Next week, unsettled weather will return with rain or showers at times. Temperatures will warm to seasonal levels this weekend, with Sunday likely being the warmest day of the period. Next week, temperatures will generally be slightly below average, with clouds and showers at times. It appears that Monday should be mostly dry east of the Cascades, with the first frontal system affecting the region around Tuesday.
